The drive to work on this ‘Hump Day’ is going to be slick and the drive to meetings or lunch might not be that much better. The National Weather Service is including Indianapolis in a Winter Weather Advisory that stretches until at least 10 a.m.  Forecasters say snow, cold and icy roads will be a problem today. Give yourself extra drive time to arrive safely where ever you’re going today.

Schools are following that advice today and they’re giving buses and parents extra time to get students to school safely with several delays and a few closures in the outlying areas.

Some of the schools that are delayed for two hours this morning include:  Andrew J Brown Academy, Charles A Tindley Accelerated School, Hamilton SE Schools, Herron High School, Oaks Academy, and Park Tudor School.

You may want to check before you send the kids to the bus stop.  Wednesday’s weather: Snow will taper off and end this morning but skies will remain cloudy this afternoon. High: 24 degrees.
