Tyra Banks announced yesterday that she an her boyfriend, photographer Erik Asla, welcomed their first child into the world. Banks made the announcement of baby York’s arrival on Instagram yesterday, where she wrote a sweet message to the surrogate calling her an “angel of a woman.”
Banks has spoken out before about her struggle of fertility. Banks said on Instagram, “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here.” Banks continued, “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin. As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world.”
