Don Cheadle makes his directorial debut as he takes on the role of Jazz Icon, Miles Davis, in the film Miles Ahead. It is set in the late 1970s, and covers a period in Davis’ life when he lived in New York. Davis sets out to find a studio tape he lost track of, but his life seems to be swirling out of control around him with guns, drugs, and even high speed chases.
Cheadle is not only starring in and directing the film, but he also co-wrote it. Sony Pictures has now released the first trailer for Miles Ahead, which is set to hit theaters on April 1st. You can read more about the film and watch the trailer here.
