A large crowd of over two thousand fans turned out to wish Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones well, as he retired from twenty five years of bringing Gospel music to the world on The Black Entertainment Television Network.

The event was presented at the Greater Imani Church, Memphis, TN where Dr. Bill Adkins is the Pastor and sponsored by James Chambers, WLOK Radio. Linda Covington, Kim Harper Jackson and Deacon James Chambers were program host.

The three hour program featured dialog and music by some of Memphis outstanding personalities and gospel artist such as: The Tennessee Mass Choir, Pastor Melvin Smith, Pamela Armour & The Shop, Kevin Davidson and The Voices, The Bell Singers, Pastor Melvin Jones, The Imani Mass Choir and many others.

Jones was also honored Saturday night June 4, 2016, in Atlanta, GA at an elegant gala presented by The Mary Parker Foundation, hosted by Victoria Rowell, Award winning Actress.

Other honors to be presented to Ambassador Jones in the month of June are The MGAG, St Louis, MO., The Musical Soul Food Festival, Chesapeake, VA. and The National Newspaper Association, Houston, TX.

Look for Ambassador Jones to also make a stop in Richmond, VA for the Big Gospel Weekend on Saturday, July 9th and on Sunday, July 10th for the 7th Annual Gospel Music Fest with The Belle.
