Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour recently stopped in Detroit, Michigan where she paid tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting that took the lives of 49 and injured several more earlier this week.

Before Beyoncé belted out one of her biggest hits, “Halo,” she explained that the song is about love.  She said, “I would like to dedicate it to all of the family members who lost family members in Florida.”  Check out a clip of the performance below.

Fans were quick to jump on social media and thank Beyoncé for her beautiful tribute.  She also recently donated money to the Flint water crisis.  Her company Parkwood Entertainment raised $82,234 for Flint off her tour ticket sales.  Read more on that story here, and read more about her tribute here.
