If you weren’t aware this is the last season for the Indiana Fever’s WNBA Legend, Tamika Catchings. She has accomplished so much in her 16 year WNBA career from, MVPs, Championships, Gold Medals, and so much more. She will be remember as one of the top basketball players to play the sport. There is only one way to send a legend off to retire, and Indiana Pacers’ Paul George is going to see to that she does.
In an article on NBA.com, it was announced that Paul George will be purchasing 5,000 tickets to Tamika Catchings’ final regular season game on Sunday, September 16 at 4PM against the Dallas Wings. These tickets will be given out to fans in an effort to make sure Catchings is sent off in front of a sellout Indiana Fever crowd.
The Indiana Fever stated “In an effort to pack the house and cap Catchings’ career with a hopeful sellout crowd, complimentary tickets will be distributed to fans on Friday afternoon at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office. Fans may collect up to a maximum four tickets per person beginning at noon on Friday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office. Lower Level and Krieg DeVault Club Level tickets also are available for purchase at the Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets.”
