Big Ten Football Championship Weekend: Wisconsin vs. Penn State

It’s Badgers vs. Nittany Lions in a game to determine who has a chance to play in one of the six bowls that comprise the College Football Playoff; however, the action isn’t limited to the field at Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday. The Big Ten Fan Fest and pep rallies take over the convention center, the Georgia Street Tailgate Party offers music and major league eater Joey Chestnut defending his title at the World Famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail Eating Championship, and Taps & Touchdowns lets fans sample some suds Friday evening. Game tickets include access to the fan fest and are priced $15 and up.

LIVE – Family Christmas at the President’s Home

Bring the family Saturday for a festive tour of Christmas in the year 1888. The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site is decorated for the holidays, his family is home to celebrate, and you can chat with them about traditions new and old, including the possibility of a Christmas tree in the White House! Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey – Out of This World

Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest show on earth awaits at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and this year’s experience is out of this world! Prepare for an intergalactic adventure for the whole family that promises to take you light years beyond the expected. Through Sunday, audiences will join the Circus Space Fleet on a quest. Children of all ages will be amazed. Tickets are $11-$50.

BROAD RIPPLE Lights Up! Parade and Festival

This annual, free family-friendly event on Saturday features Indy’s only twilight parade, live entertainment, great food, and a kids’ wonderland complete with cookie decorating, ornament making, and many more holiday craft activities. Join the parade to the lighting ceremony at the Broad Ripple Firehouse where Santa will flip the switch, then take photos with children.
