Serena Williams is one of the greatest athletes of all time, but she constantly faces sexism in the sports world. With 22 Grand Slam titles under her belt, you’d think the sexism would stop, but it hasn’t.
Williams has fought hard for equal pay and to be viewed as a top athlete, not just a top “women’s athlete.” She recently wrote an uplifting open letter to women, and posted it to her Instagram account. The letter encourages females to follow their dreams and continue to empower each other.
