@kwellscomm @PraiseIndy PraiseIndy.com National News —
The president’s daughter Ivanka Trump, Small Business Administration leader Linda McMahon and presidential economic advisor Dina Powell met with business owners in Baltimore on Wednesday. The meeting at the Greater Baltimore Urban League included a roundtable discussion on urban entrepreneurship. Few details about the meeting have been released but Marc Morial, the president and CEO of the National Urban League, did tweet out photos like the one below.
While Trump was meeting with others about business, newspaper websites DailyMail.com and USAToday.com were reporting that the state of New York has filed a tax warrant against ‘Ivanka’ for her fine jewelry line’s Manhattan store failing to pay over $5,000 in taxes and still leaving a more than $3 million judgment against that jewelry line for accepting jewelry from a distributor and then not paying them. Madison Avenue Diamonds, LLC does business as Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry and has a store in Trump Tower. The reports however, list multiple business-related lawsuits in connection to the eldest Trump daughter’s business operations.
