Vanessa Bell Calloway Makes Television Directional Debut
With Episode 207
‘SAINTS & SINNERS’ ON BOUNCE, SUNDAY
LOS ANGELES (04.12.2017)– After honing her skills working on independent short films and digital content, Vanessa Bell Calloway directs episode 207 of Bounce’s hit series Saints & Sinners, Sunday.
Starring Calloway in the lead role as Lady Ella, Saints & Sinners follows a Southern Baptist church and its surrounding community, entrenched in a world of crime, lust, deceit and greed. Calloway shows her range by serving as an actor and the director for the episode. Clifton Powell (Ray), Christian Keys (Madea Goes To Jail), Keith Robinson (Dreamgirls), JD Williams (The Wire), and Tray Chaney (The Wire) co-star on the series.
In addition to directing and starring in Saints & Sinners, the STARZ network recently announced that Calloway will be joining the cast of the LeBron James produced comedy Survivor’s Remorse in a recurring role. Calloway will portray Missy Vaughn’s (Teyonah Parris) mother, Camille Jordan.
