Aretha Franklin is upset with Dionne Warwick- Apparently this all started when Dionne Warwick tried to give Franklin a hug at a Clive Davis event not too long ago. Aretha says they have never been friends and also stated that Dionne never liked her. Soooo, she sends the media a fax message about something she did not like that Dionne Warrick said back in 2012 when Whitney Houston passed away.  Dionne said, ´”Ree’s [Franklin’s nickname] not here, but she is here,” Warwick assured the mourners. “She loves Whitney as if she were born to her. She is her godmother.”

Well Aretha said, per the A.P., that she met Whitney as a child, but was “far too busy to be anyone’s godmother.” She said that Warwick “blatantly lied on [her”] and “knew full well what she was doing.”

Ummmm… okay. Read more here.
