Erica honored living legend Cissy Houston during the McDonalds 365 Black Awards show during Essence.
This year’s program was scaled back and is not being shown on national cable network Black Entertainment Television as has occurred in previous years. The ceremony and luncheon was held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in New Orleans and included performances by singers Kelly Price, CeCe Winans and Jekalyn Carr who paid tribute to Cissy Houston
