Potholes are a huge problem for thousands of Hoosier drivers and have been for a while now.

As the weather continues to get warmer, the Department of Public Works are continuously filling potholes and since that hole have been reported but understandably so drivers want answers about the continuous problems with our roads.

On Thursday, Mayor Joe Hogsett joined Community Connection with special guest host Tina Cosby, along with Radio One GM Deon Levingston to talk about those hazardous roads and plans to fix them.

Hogsett said the City-County Council has already passed a $126 million street repair package for the short term and a $400 million investment spread over four years as well. Plus, he explained the upside and downside of doing a commuter tax to help pay for the roads.
