Eli Johnson and Free Worship is an amazing gospel group with an electrifying sound. This group has the ability to fuse urban gospel songs like “Emancipated” (which speaks encouragement to struggling Christians) and traditional songs like “Just For Me” (a worship song about Jesus at Calvary). Eli Johnson and co-founder Damon Smith, brought their South Carolina style to Indiana and introduced the world to their demo project “The Praylude” which gained national attention through the syndicated radio show “Coco Brother Live”. After blazing the stage with Vicki Winans, James Fortune, Byron Cage, Jayson Clayborn, and Tonya Baker, Eli and Free Worship are back in the studio recording their first full project titled “Emancipated”, which is due to release in the spring of 2011.
