Senator Mike Braun Supports Trump’s Pick for VP

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Senator and candidate for Governor Mike Braun says former President Donald Trump made a fantastic pick in Ohio Senator JD Vance as his running mate.

“He’s young, vibrant, and he has been there since his time in the senate as a stalwart supporter (of Donald Trump),” said Braun while talking with WIBC’s Tony Katz. He also called Vance one of the smartest people in the Senate.

Braun, also a republican, believes that Vance will help republicans gain more votes in states that will be important come November. In particular, he believes Vance will have a big impact in places like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

“I think it was an excellent pick all around,” claimed Braun. “I think we had several to choose from that would have been very good. I think Trump hit it on the money in the case of JD.

Vance is a republican Senator from Ohio and was previously critical of Trump in 2016. He has since become more supportive of the former President who endorsed Vance in 2022 before he was elected.
