susan-boyle-dancing-with-the-stars.jpg Susan Boyle isn’t having the best luck making stateside TV appearances these days.

After licensing issues prevented her from singing a Lou Reed tune on a September episode of “America’s Got Talent,” a throat infection will keep her from making a scheduled appearance on the Oct. 5 “Dancing With the Stars” results show.

Extra reports the ailing crooner is unable to leave her Scotland home, and therefor not singing Leonard Cohen‘s “Hallelujah” at the competition’s Los Angeles set.

ABC confirms to Zap2it that, while no replacement for Boyle has been found yet, the broadcast will include a previously planned performance by Ne-Yo. The R&B singer-songwriter will make the TV debut of his new single “One In A Million.” Pro Mark Ballas will also square off with dancer Val Chmerkovskiy (Maksim‘s brother) in a “string duel.”

Given the short notice, maybe Michael Bolton will be up to fill in for Boyle. Or maybe not.
