A trio of captains are returning to Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch.”  TMZ.com reports that Captains Sig Hansen, Johnathan Hillstrand, and Andy Hillstrand have worked out their legal troubles with the cable network.   The three quit the show two weeks ago over a three-million dollar lawsuit Discovery had filed against them.  The cable network alleged that the trio failed to complete work on a spin-off show.  But now, the reported series in question, “Hillstranded,” will be completed per the Hillstrands’ agreement with Discovery.  Captain Hansen had quit “Deadliest Catch” with the Hillstrands as a show of solidarity.  A representative for the three captains says, quote, “We’re happy we worked everything out with Discovery.  A deal’s a deal.  We’re heading up to Dutch Harbor to start filming the new season of ‘Deadliest Catch’ and hopefully it will be the best one yet.”

Filming on the seventh season of “Deadliest Catch” is set to begin this week.  Josh and Jake Harris, sons of late Captain Phil Harris, will be returning to work as deckhands on their father’s boat, the Cornelia Marie.  Phil passed away in February.  Captain Derrick Ray, who stepped in to replace Harris as skipper of the Cornelia Marie last season, will be back for the new season, which will air next year.
