Mozel Sanders is one of the many films being screened at this year’s Heartland Film Festival. Those filmmakers joined Afternoons with Amos. Along with filmmakers of Thunder Road, a look at a reunion of a 1970’s high school jazz band’s impact on music and Freedom Riders about the legendary civil rights activities who helped desegregate buses in 1961.
