Showing off her fabulous new look, Jennifer Hudson tended to press duties at the Glass Houses in New York City on Thursday (April 1).

The “American Idol” alum proudly revealed her new weight loss with the debut of her national advertising campaign with Weight Watchers during the Big Apple event.

Talking about shedding the pounds, Miss Hudson said, “I tried diet after diet, plan after plan and saw pretty much the same, but Weight Watchers is that much more different.”

“I was able to eat sushi and I hadn’t had ice cream in about ten years, and pizza in about ten years, until now. The first week I lost 5 pounds!” Jen dished. “I hope to set a good example for others. I would like to see many more do the same and conquer what they’ve been trying to conquer forever, because it’s possible!”
