Two days after Bengals coach Marvin Lewis downplayed the team’s interest in Adam “Pacman” Jones, there’s reason to believe the team is more interested than Lewis let on.
Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Jones is working out for the Bengals in Cincinnati today.
Just because the Bengals are bringing Jones in for a workout doesn’t necessarily mean they plan to sign him, but it does show greater interest than Lewis has expressed publicly. Lewis has suggested that the Bengals have done nothing more than return phone calls from Jones’ agent.
Jones played nine games for the Cowboys in 2008. He was out of the league entirely in 2007 and 2009.
