106-year-old Virginia McLaurin fulfilled one of her dreams when she got to visit the White House yesterday. She was so excited to meet the President and First Lady, she danced her way to greet them.
McLaurin stated, “I thought I would never live to get in the White House.” She continued, “I am so happy! A black president; a black wife; and I’m here to celebrate black history.”
Michelle Obama spoke for all of us when she told McLaurin, “I want to be like you when I grow up!” Watch the cute video below.
