All across the world, including Nelson Mandela’s country of South Africa, will be having different types of remembrance for a great man who passed away a year ago today.

Mandela, Who was 95, passed away last year on December 5th but his name and legacy has  not been forgotten. In his honor, there have been different ways everyone is honoring him, including a ceremony at a cricket match.

Nelson Mandela was South Africa’s first black president and is known for his time spent in jail, 27 years, for fighting white-minority rule.
