The Afternoons with Amos PODCAST for Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Indiana native and former Indianapolis resident and Arlington High School graduate Vivica A. Fox, busy preparing for the sequel to Independence Day, is coming home to Indy to be the Keynote Speaker at a Charity Event next Sunday, June 7th for the non-profit empowerment organization The Fractal Group. (At The 1:20:12 Mark On The Media Player) In an exclusive Afternoons with Amos interview, Fox talked about the several projects she’s just completed and is working on. A new film debuted this past Memorial Day Weekend Chocolate City, which is available in select theaters and from On Demand cable nets like Comcast/Xfinity, AT&T/U-Verse and Bright House.  She’s also prepping for Independence Day 2 which opens next July 4th; twenty years after the first worldwide blockbuster. Vivica will reprise her role as Jasmine; now a hospital administrator who’s mom to a new fighter pilot who has to save the world from aliens.  In the interview, Vivica talked about that Black is the new color in Hollywood, with the growing popularity of movies and TV shows with Black actors and actresses in leading roles, along with as directors, producers and writers. Vivica A. Fox’s appearance Sunday, June 7 for The Fractal Group helps benefit that non-profit organization’s efforts an developing and incubating other non-profits.   The rest of the Tuesday, May 26th Afternoons with Amos was devoted to listener reactions and comments n a number of subjects from problems at a local two local schools.
