Baltimore native, Jada Pinkett Smith, donated $10,000 to Baltimore’s Victims Emergency Fund.  The Victims Emergency Fund helps victims of crime by taking care of their immediate needs.  The fund covers things such as: replacing locks, windows, stolen medication, and more.

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby commented on Smith’s generous donation stating, “Mrs. Pinkett Smith has made service to people across the country one of her many priorities as a philanthropist, and I am so honored that she looked to my office as an opportunity to help victims and witness of crime in Baltimore City.”  You can read more on this story here.
