Gospel singer Tina Campbell and her percussionist husband Teddy Campbell are sharing new details about their infidelity story on The Steve Harvey Show.
In a pre-taped episode airing Wednesday, Dec. 9, the scorned wife shares exactly how she found out the devastating news that her spouse was cheating.
“Someone, actually, who knows me very well, they were watching me on the reality show,” explained the Grammy-winning singer.
“I was always saying, ‘I can leave all of this,” continued Tina, referencing the Season 3 taping of WE tv’s “Mary Mary” when she was feuding with her group member sister Erica Campbell, threatening to ditch the rocky duo and simply enjoy the comfort of what she thought was a healthy marriage.
Well, reality hit hard when a fan of the show, who knows the 41-year-old well, revealed what was really going on.
“They were like, listen, I hate to have to say this to you and I followed the information that I found out for six months to make sure it was true, because, I don’t want to break your heart,” Tina recalled. “But don’t stop doing what you’re doing, because you might need to take care of you and your kids.”
