Michael Strahan officially left Live! With Kelly & Michael last Friday, and he wasted no time moving onto his next gig. On Tuesday, the former NFL star made his first GMA appearance since leaving Live.
Strahan didn’t say if Tuesday was his first official day on GMA, he just went straight to work interviewing supermodel and new mother Chrissy Teigen, and Robert Herjavec of ABC’s Shark Tank.
Strahan’s exit of Live wasn’t supposed to take place until September, but he left four month’s earlier than expected. Many believe his early exit had to do with the awkward chemistry between the co-hosts, after Kelly Ripa’s return. Strahan had also planned to make his GMA debut in September, so there is no word if Strahan’s appearances will be full time from now on or not. Read more on the story here.
