Comedian and star of the new Ghostbusters Leslie Jones was recently on The View, and spoke about how Whoopi Goldberg has impacted her career.

Jones got a bit emotional when asked about Whoopi.  Jones explained that when she was a little girl, her father would let her listen to comedy albums.  She then recalls the first time she ever saw Whoopi do a stand-up act on television.  Jones says she remembers crying because she looked like Whoopi, and it made her realize she could do that when she grew up.  Jones goes on to explain that she understands that young girls might be watching her, and she may be inspiring them, just as Whoopi inspired her.
