Hardee’s is helping the Mozel Sanders Foundation today in their goal to feed hungry Hoosiers on Thanksgiving.

Yes the annual Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Radiothon has ended but the fast food restaurant is donating $1 from each sausage sandwich you buy today to the fund to help them provide a hot meal to Hoosiers on the holiday. Each Thanksgiving meal costs around $4.50 and includes turkey, dressing, green beans, apple crisp and a roll. The Mozel Sanders Foundation wants to feed around 40,000 hungry Hoosiers, including the sick, shut-in, and the areas veterans but they need this community’s help to do so.

The foundation and Hardee’s encourage you to stop by Indianapolis-area Hardee’s location for that sausage breakfast sandwich during breakfast hours on Wednesday, November 16, and visit their web to volunteer and/or make other donations. Find them online at mozelsanders.org. The “donate” button is at the top (or follow the link in this story).
