WNBA: JUL 11 Atlanta Dream at Indiana Fever

INDIANAPOLIS–The Indiana overcame an eight-point deficit to knock off the Atlanta Dream Friday night 99-82 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The win also snapped a two-game losing skid.

Indiana trailed by five at halftime. They would outscore Atlanta 29-20 in the third quarter and then win the fourth quarter 30-17. Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana in scoring with 25 points followed by Aliyah Boston with 19 points, eight assists, and six rebounds.

Caitlin Clark finished with 12 points and nine assists for Indiana. The Fever also got 16 points and 10 rebounds out of Sophie Cunningham. That’s her first double double of the season and her second career double double. The Fever finished with 27 assists as a team, which is a season high.

Jordin Canada was Atlanta’s leading scorer with 30 points.

Indiana improves to 10-10 on the year while Atlanta drops to 12-8.
