In an exclusive interview Afternoons with Amos revealed a class action lawsuit filed against the 2010 Census, charging their background check procedures are discriminating against Black and other minority applicants for Census jobs. Audrey Wiggins of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law discussed the suit filed Tuesday in New York Federal Court. And Wiggins heard plenty from Indianapolis residents hassled because of background checks when they applied for 2010 Census jobs.
