Part 2 Of Forum With Indy’s Past Five Mayors

Indianapolis’ Mayors since UniGov appeared Friday in a first time ever joint forum at the University of Indianapolis. Richard Lugar, Bill Hudnut, Steve Goldsmith, Bart Peterson and current Mayor Greg Ballard discussed Indianapolis’ successes and goals to be achieved. In Part 2 of their discussion, Hudnut speaks out strongly on immigration, against racial profiling and harassment and defends his stand on creating diversity in the police and fire department when he was mayor.  Goldsmith talks about neighborhoods, Lugar and Peterson about reaching out. Mayor Ballard defends his position on immigration and police diversity, stands which some may find disturbing. Hear Part 2 above.
