Forget what you heard about Janet Jackson breaking it off with longtime beau, music producer Jermaine Dupri around the time of her brother, Michael Jackson’s death in June. “People” has confirmed that the two are still an item in spite of Jackson telling “Harper’s Bazaar” that she was single. A source says, quote, “They never really broke up. Jermaine wanted to give her some space when Michael died.” In related news, Janet is going to be the focus of a one-hour special to air on November 18th on ABC. The singer will sit down to talk with Robin Roberts for what will be her first prime-time interview since Michael’s sudden passing. Janet’s “Number Ones” greatest hits album hits stores on November 17th.
