The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is cracking down on illegal after-hours clubs and bars in the city.  Early Sunday morning, officers raided a building on Hovey Street known for illegal activity, but they found it empty.  Someone outside told officers the party had moved to Big Fella’s Restaurant on North College Avenue. When police arrived and raided the popular soul food restaurant, they found a bar, professional gambling tables and strippers performing on the second floor. The party was “going down” despite the fact the restaurant does not have a permit to sell alcohol or hold live entertainment events.
