The Sioux Falls Collector’s Classic Gun Show in South Dakota has banned a vendor for selling shooting targets that depicted African-Americans, reports the Huffington Post.

The vendor allegedly hid “Runnin’ Nigger” targets within his merchandise sold at the gun show this week. After the vendor bragged about selling 500 of the targets for 10 cents each, show manager Bob Campbell caught wind of his comments. He also confirmed that all merchandise is checked before being placed out for purchase.

Organizers tell us they’re “disturbed and disgusted” to see a vendor selling the product. That salesman, who did not give his name to KSFY, is now banned from the local gun show.

When asked by reporters if he was racist, the vendor reportedly explained it “didn’t make a difference” if he was, since he sold such a large amount.

South Dakota’s reputation of racism goes back decades, but state senator Phil Jensen (R) raised eyebrows earlier this month when he said businesses should be able to turn away people from the LGBT community and African-Americans if they don’t align with the business’ religious beliefs.

His proposed “Senate Bill 128,” died in committee after LGBT activists and Republicans alike shunned the bill, calling it “a mean, nasty, hateful, vindictive bill.”

Stay classy, South Dakota.
