WWE superstar, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, took to Instagram to share a touching story with his fans.  Johnson surprised his “Uncle” Tonga with a brand new Ford truck for Christmas.  Johnson wanted to say thank you, and pay Tonga back for helping him out years ago.

On Instagram, Johnson shared the story of their relationship.  He explained that his grandfather helped to train Tonga in the 70’s to become a professional wrestler, and he has known his “Uncle” since he was 5 years old.  Johnson goes on to explain, that years later he got a call from WWE and they wanted him to fly out to have his first ever match.  “I was broke…and didn’t actually own wrestling gear- no boots, knee pads or most importantly..wrestling trunks,” said Johnson.  Johnson explains that Tonga lent him his very own signature purple wrestling trunks, and helped him out when he was starting out and had nothing.

In the caption, Johnson wrote, “We walk outside and I said, ‘Uncle how do you like my truck?’ He said, ‘Whoooaaa nephew it’s beautiful… I love it!’ I said, ‘Good ’cause it’s yours.’ He was speechless.  Thru tears (manly of course;) we monster hugged ’cause I’ll never forget what he did for me when I had nothing. Merry Christmas Uncle and ofa atu.”
