TNT is in talks of picking up a courtroom Drama that is being produced by Viola Davis and Debra Martin Chase.  The show is reportedly called Conviction, and it is based on the chief prosecutor of Wayne County, MI, Kym Worthy.

Worthy is known as “the toughest woman in Detroit,” as she handles about 52% of all felony cases in Michigan.  She is only the second African American to serve in that position, and she has a conviction rate of about 90%.

The project was originally designed for ABC, but it’s rumored that TNT will be picking it up.  Ayanna Floyd, who currently works on the hit show Empire, is said to be writing scripts and co-executive producing Conviction.

If this project does come to life, surely it won’t disappoint!  You can read more on the story here.
