Hollie Mallet has a camera set up in her garage that caught something unexpected, but quite adorable.  Josh Breaux of Pierre Part, Louisiana, was riding his bike around the neighborhood when he drove up a neighbor’s driveway, dropped his bike, and ran into the garage to give their dog a hug.

Mallet posted the surveillance video on Facebook asking neighbors if they recognized the boy.  She didn’t want to get the boy in trouble, she wanted to make sure he knew he could come over to play with her Black Lab, Dutchess, anytime he wanted.

It wasn’t long until neighbors identified the boy as Ginger Breaux’s son, Josh.  Mallet and Breaux exchanged stories on Facebook in the comments section of the video.  Breaux said, “Josh talks about your dog all the time!  Every time we pass he looks to see if she was sitting where he could see her. Just didn’t know he was doing things like this.  Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a Momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn’t be on someone’s property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much.”  Breaux went on to say, “He turned ten shades of red when I told him to watch a video that I found!”

Breaux went on to explain, “We had our dog Bella since Josh was 2, but she passed away last year.  Things have been busy and Josh is active with after school activities so we have not jumped back into taking on the responsibility of starting all over again with a new pup quite yet.  It will happen though!”

Josh has been back to visit Dutchess, and enjoys taking selfies with her.  The video has since gone viral, and even made it onto ABC World News Tonight and GMA.  Check out the adorable video below.
