Ever since Tamar Braxton was fired from daytime talk show The Real, the drama surrounding her exit appears to be never-ending. Now some of Tamar’s fans are vowing to boycott the singer’s former show as a sign of solidarity and standing up for what they think is right.
If you follow Tamar Braxton on social media then you already know that she has a pretty large and devoted fan following, whom she affectionately refers to as her “Tamartians” and they go hard for her online much like Beyoncé‘s Beyhive. Well now these same fans are still highly upset about Tamar being fired and are demanding a boycott of all reruns and future airings of The Real.
Reported by Inquisitr, a host of angry fans took to Twitter to spread the word about their boycott, their feelings about the remaining co-hosts and more.
The report states:
A number of Braxton’s biggest fans took to social media to slam the series, which is currently playing re-run episodes on Fox ahead of the third-season debut in September, threatening to boycott both new and old episodes of the talk show.
A slew of Tamar’s fans expressed their anger on social media, telling the show’s producers that they would not be tuning in without Braxton.
Here are some of the select comments from fans on Twitter:
“@TheRealDaytime Starting a The Real Boycott and letting advertisers know we will be boycotting them as well for firing Tamar,” @kay_debkaytay tweeted out, while Twitter user @ChristinLakenya wrote on the social media site, “Let’s boycott The Real for Tamar, she’s the only reason I watched. Loni [Love] is not funny. She’s corny.” “@TheRealDaytime #boycott The real!!!” @ummaboyy added. “Tamar Braxton was only on the show that was interesting. The other host are cornballs!”
Meanwhile, Tamar let fans know over the weekend that she has no beef with anyone and that she is full of positivity and focused on the future. Hopefully the drama surrounding The Real will be completely over soon and Tamar can put it all behind her.
