The man behind a Sheridan, Indiana Fourth of July parade float that called President Barack Obama a “lying African,” is saying he didn’t mean to offend anyone. But that’s not all–Donald Christy also says he’s not politically correct and he’s not backing down. Christy, a Donald Trump supporter, became a viral star after pictures of the float made the rounds on social media recently. Christy says he’s the only one responsible for the float. Local leaders in Sheridan aren’t pleased with the attention.
