Jekalyn Carr sits at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. The 19-year-old vocalist’s third studio set, The Life Project, boasts a career-high 2,000 sold.

Carr’s first album, 2013’s Greater Is Coming, opened and peaked at No. 3. In 2014, It’s Gonna Happen debuted at its No. 9 high.

On the Hot Gospel Songs chart, which combines airplay, sales and streaming data, Donnie McClurkin’s “I Need You” ascends to the top 10, hopping 11-10.

On Gospel Airplay, it gains 8 percent and lifts 13-12, while on Gospel Digital Songs it increases by 27 percent and re-enters at No. 23.

McClurkin notches his sixth Hot Gospel Songs top 10. He led the list for seven weeks in 2005 with “I Call You Faithful.”
