Tamika Catchings was recently cleaning out her garage when she found a note from her former University of Tennessee coach, Pat Summitt, dated back from July 25, 2002. Catchings shared the note on twitter that Summitt had written her during her first WNBA season. See the note below.
The discovery of the old note came in a timely manner, as last night was Catchings’ last WNBA game. The Fever fell to the Pheonix Mercury 89-78. The 10 time WNBA All-Star has had a very successful professional basketball career, including a championship in 2012.
