The Gospel Industry Mourns the Passing of Peppi Hendrix
Miami, Florida — February 13, 2018 – The Gospel Industry is once again dealing with the passing of another family member. Mr. Peppi Hendrix, WPEP Owner and General Manager, President and CEO of the Hendrix Entertainment Group, Inc. and State President of The Florida Gospel Announcers Guild of the GMWA, passed away following a massive heart attack.
During an exclusive interview with Gospel Recording Johnny Sanders, a good friend of Hendrix, he said, “Peppi was at church on Sunday morning (February 11, 2018) and then went home with his family. The next thing we were told was he had gotten sick and was not able to keep anything down. He was later rushed to the hospital but just didn’t make it. This is really shocking news for those who knew him. He had a lot going on. He was a go getter and was really about the community.”
