“The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus (IBLC) will begin its fifth annual series of town halls with a virtual town hall on June 11.
IBLC members have two virtual town halls scheduled, as of now, with a second virtual town hall scheduled on June 11 and June 25. Members will discuss new laws that were passed last session, policy changes, minority issues, census information and COVID-19 assistance programs. These virtual town halls will be held on Zoom and will be recorded and posted on the IBLC Facebook page.
The IBLC, the Indianapolis Recorder and New America Indianapolis are partnering for these online public forums to ensure that the perspectives of Hoosier minority residents are represented on all public issues.”
