A Winter Weather Advisory is effect for the entire AM1310 listening area, through midday Friday before waking up to a possible 3 inches of snow in Indianapolis, Friday morning.

Thursday Night:

Temperatures will dramatically fall Thursday afternoon, dropping to the upper 20s overnight. Rain will accompany the falling temperatures through Rush Hour, before blowing snow arrives around 7pm. Wind Gusts over 50 mph will slam Central Indiana overnight.

Friday Morning:

Three inches of snow could be on the ground in Indianapolis for the morning commute, with 3-5 inches expected north of I-70 and 1-3 inches in South Central Indiana.

The predicted snow totals in Indiana are practically nothing compared to the near foot of snow falling in Iowa and Wisconsin.

The Indy Snow Force will be out in full force overnight Thursday and through the day on Friday.
