There will be more than a little live gospel music at the 28th annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, which return to Nashville on tonight… January 19.

Nearly two dozen gospel acts will take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry House that night, including Amber Bullock, Anita Wilson, Byron Cage, Pastor Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Choir, Delores Washington, Donnie McClurkin, Dorothy Norwood, Dottie Peoples, Israel Houghton & New Breed, Jason Nelson, Kierra Clark Sheard, The Kurt Carr Singers, LeAndria Johnson, Marvin Sapp, Marvin Winans, Mary Mary, Maurette Brown Clark, Shirley Caesar, Tamela Mann, Tye Tribbett and Y’Anna Crawley.

Gospel stars Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary host this year’s program, which is being broadcast live for the first time on gmctv (formerly the Gospel Music Channel). The show is open to the public, and tickets are $55-$200 at Ticketmaster. So if you are in Nashville tonight, head on over.
