As anger among Indiana media, organized labor, legislators and ordinary Hoosiers grows over severe restrictions placed on public access to the Indiana State House, the officials who supposedly made the decision appeared live on Afternoons with Amos to address the many questions that’ve been raised. Indiana Department of Administration Commissioner Robert Wynkoop, State Fire Marshall James Greeson and representing the Indiana State Police Capt. Dave Bursten tried to answer the many questions raised about the policy that restricts public access to the State House to some 1,000 to 1,500 persons. As you’ll hear in the interview, a number of questions weren’t answered and it wasn’t clear who gave the final approval to the restrictions or whether much thought had been given to the ramifications.
