The first Candidate Tuesdays kicked off on Afternoons with Amos as Libertarian and Socialist Party candidates joined independent write-in candidates for a frank discussion of the issues in the November 6th election. Afternoons with Amos has scheduled t least twenty-seven hours so far of candidate interviews between now and Election Day. Appearing on the first Candidate Tuesday were Tom Frye, Independent write-in candidate for 7th District Congress which consists of most of Indianapolis/Marion County except the northern parts of Pike, Washington and Lawrence Townships. Eric Scott, independent write-in candidate for State Senate District 34 which includes downtown, Martindale/Brightwood, Forest Manor, Devington and the Far eastside of Indianapolis. Ronald Haldeman, Socialist Party candidate in House District 94 which consists of the southern half of Pike Township and areas of Washington Township near 71st & Michigan Road. Fred Peterson, Libertarian Party candidate in Senate District 30 which includes Nora, Broad Ripple, Castleton, Brendon Way areas. The candidates talked about jobs, education, taxes, mass transits and much more.
