God bless national promoter Al Wash for putting together one of the most anointed Gospel Tours to hit the country in years!

While the tour will be crisscrossing the country for the next six weeks, Richmond, VA was its third stop and the crowd was not disappointed with performances from Zacardy Cortez, VaShawn Mitchell, Kierra Sheard and James Fortune.

They were real and transparent as they ministered their many Billboard Hits as well as singing and supporting each other.

While the four initially opened up the show, Zarcardy Cortez was the first artist to perform his set and while doing so, he truly set the atmosphere.  His voice was strong and on point as he performed his signature runs and held on to notes that had many simply staring in true amazement.

Mr. Nobody Greater and six time Stellar Award Winner VaShawn Mitchell was next up with an amazing set of re-arrangements and a powerful ministry that had many on their feet praising God.  Mitchell said, “When you try to duplicate what God has done, it will never come out the same.”

“Power House” Kierra Sheard ministered next.  Her spirit was passionate for God as she performed, ministered and shared her love for God through her powerful words of encouragement to the crowd!  “It’s like Fire…Shut Up in my bones” she said to the crowd, after taking off her shoes and one ear ring.  She was simply amazing and blessed as many saw her talents and heard her gifted vocal abilities that stood strong by itself and with no need to lean on the famous Clark family name.  However the Clark family also has no need to worry about the Clark name staying strong as long as Kierra keeps on singing with the passion she brought during last nights concert. She is truly a blessing!

Singing last was Stellar Award winner and now two time Grammy nominated James Fortune!  He shared his testimony from being homeless and performed numerous hits.  Fortune’s music was so powerful there were many people shouting, dancing, praising God and kneeling on the altar.  He worked the stage from one end to other making sure he had eye contact with the entire crowd.  Simply… he was a blessing to the body of Christ!

The concert was originally scheduled to take place on Friday night but had to be rescheduled because of inclement weather.  However before leaving, VaShawn Mitchell said, “The reason the concert didn’t happen on Friday night, was because whoever needed to be here, couldn’t get here on Friday, so God rearranged this evening just for someone who could only make it here tonight.”

Following the concert, all of the singers took time out to meet the crowd, take pictures and sign autographs.

Pastor Jamie Duncan opened the evening with a greeting from the pastor as The Belle and Shuckey Duckie co-hosted the evening.

It was a blessed evening!
