A missing woman has been found alive and the suspected abductor has killed himself, according to Cleveland police at the scene.

Police are at a location in the 4200 block of Maple Dale Avenue Monday morning after police were tipped off on a location for Kenya Pierce and Derrick Hudson.

Officers were dispatched to the 12300 block of Chesterfield Avenue near E. 125th Street around 9:52 a.m. Saturday for a report of two to three people shot.

Upon arrival, officers were told that a woman had been kidnapped by an adult male suspect.

Cleveland police’s preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect, Derrick Hudson, 35, shot the two victims and then kidnapped his once girlfriend, Kenya Pierce, 35, at gunpoint.
