New Indianapolis Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Lewis Ferebee appeared on Afternoons with Amos this week. While he talked with Amos about the weather conditions that have forced schools to be closed most of the week, Ferebee talked about going into IPS classrooms actually teaching students.  And more importantly what those students were telling him they’d like to see to make IPS better.  Ferebee also worried with Amos about the proposed impact of Gov. Mike Pence’s proposal to phase out the business personal property tax.  That cut would blow a $15 million dollar hole in IPS’ already precarious budget. Dr. Ferebee also talked to Amos about his unique get together with IPS’ teachers.  Click the Arrow to hear Amos’ Interview with IPS Supt. Dr. Lewis Ferebee. Runs 11 Minutes. ©2014 WTLC/Radio One.
